Scribefit is a UK-based sole-trader business specialising in the design, manufacture and supply of precision flooring scribing tools and accessories.

Scribefit tools are designed to assist with accurate flooring marking and scribing. Customers should select the appropriate tool size for their flooring plank dimensions.

Product colours may vary from those shown in photographs due to screen settings, material availability or production variations.

We reserve the right to update product specifications, descriptions and availability. Changes will not affect orders we have already accepted without the customer's agreement.

3. Orders and Payments

All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP).

Any applicable taxes and delivery charges will be clearly displayed before payment.

Orders are subject to availability and payment authorisation.

We reserve the right to decline an order before acceptance where there is a legitimate reason, including product unavailability or an obvious pricing error. Any payment already received for an order we cannot fulfil will be refunded.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact and delivery information.

4. Shipping and Delivery

We aim to dispatch orders promptly, in accordance with the processing and delivery times displayed on our website.

Delivery estimates are provided in good faith and may be affected by courier delays or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We remain responsible for goods during delivery until they are received by the customer or their nominated recipient, except where the law provides otherwise.

If an order is delayed, lost or arrives damaged, please contact us so that we can investigate and provide an appropriate resolution.

5. Returns, Refunds and Cancellations

We offer a 30-day returns policy, subject to the conditions explained in our Refund & Returns Policy.

Under UK consumer law, customers generally have the right to cancel eligible online purchases within 14 days of receiving their goods, without providing a reason.

Customers must then return the goods within the applicable statutory period.

Return postage costs for change-of-mind returns are normally the customer's responsibility, where disclosed before purchase.

Refunds will be processed in accordance with our published policy and applicable consumer legislation.

Faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied products will be handled in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Scribefit tools are designed to assist with accurate marking and scribing during flooring installation.

Customers should use suitable cutting equipment and follow the instructions provided by their flooring manufacturer, including any requirements for expansion gaps, installation methods and suitable cutting techniques.

Scribefit is not responsible for losses caused solely by incorrect product selection, improper use or failure to follow applicable flooring installation instructions.

This does not exclude responsibility where the law requires it.

7. Intellectual Property

The Scribefit website, original product designs, photographs, videos, written content and branding are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Scribefit's flooring tool design is registered under UK Registered Design No. 6553145.

Content from this website must not be reproduced or used commercially without permission, except where permitted by law.

We aim to keep our website accurate, secure and available.

Occasionally, technical issues, maintenance or errors may affect the website's operation.

We reserve the right to correct genuine errors and update website content where necessary.
